Colombo Archery Centre has launched a High Performance Training squad for aspiring Olympians. The squad has been selected from High performance Archers and they will undergo a special training programme developed for Archers who have ambition to represent Sri Lanka and ultimately become an Olympian
Colombo Archery Classic 2021 - Stage 05 will be held from the 19th - 23rd of July 2021 at the Colombo Archery Centre.
Colombo International School commenced an Archery program with the Colombo Archery Centre to introduce Archery at the School. More pics in the Photo Gallery
A strength Training Gym was opened at the colombo Archery Centre on the 30th of January 2020. The Gym will help to meet the strength training needs of our Archers as well as our Parents
32 quota places added to archery events at Dakar 2022 Youth Olympic Games. The number of archers that will compete at the next Youth Olympic Games is set to increase by 50% to a total of 96 following the approval of the sports and event programme at Dakar 2022 by the International Olympic Committee’s executive board.The additional spaces will be split across male and female athletes to retain gender equity. Forty-eight boys and 48 girls aged between 14 and 17 will compete in the archery events at Dakar 2022.

We wish our new President of Sri Lanka His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa all success in his new position.
We cherish the memories of his presence as the Chief Guest when he declared open the Colombo Archery Centre facility in 2010
Sam Rajapaksa and Rehana Tayabally have been selected to represent the Sri Lanka Archery Team at the South Asian Games 2019 to be held in Nepal.
Sam has also been selected as the Team Captain of the Sri Lanka Archery Team to this Tournament.

Archery Classes are conducted in Groups at Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite levels. We also have individual classes. All required equipment is provided at no cost for the classes. Each level has eight training sessions.
We also have specialised squad training for the Archers who aspire to compete at both National and International archery tournaments
